10 Unique Wedding Veil Designers You Should Know

One of my favorite things about the wedding industry as a whole is the possibility of personalization in every single detail. Dresses and suits can be custom-made, shoes and jackets can be painted, and wedding favors can be crafted in a way that reflects exactly who you are.

Easily one of my favorite areas of personalization - non-traditional wedding veils! Gone are the days when you need to have a plain floor-length piece of tulle hanging from your head (though lets me real - I’m not a hater. Those can be cute too)! Instead, it’s becoming more and more common to get customized wedding veils painted, embroidered, or dyed in a way that exactly matches the unique look of the day. Not sure which direction you’d like to head? No worries! Check out one of the places below for some sweet sweet unique and non-traditional wedding veil inspiration!

Rebecca Anne Designs

Rebecca Anne Designs has long been one of my favorite artists when it comes to bespoke veils. She has a way of turning beautiful script, imagery, and even poems into the most gorgeous custom veils. Though she does offer custom designs (especially if you have a poem or flower near and dear to your heart), there are plenty of absolutely stellar pre-designed veils to see on the website.

Ofrenda Studio

Based in Mexico City, Ofrenda Studio brings together a mix of spirituality and reverence with a bit of textural play. They experiment with everything from needlework, to ribbon, to embroidery, and are always searching for a new and elegant way to present a wedding veil.

Rue de Seine

A small but mighty veil collection for an elevated wedding that still wants to embrace touches of whimsy (and a bit of a desert vibe). Their veil collection features a few intricately embroidered floor-length veils with a variety of nature-focused designs.

Untamed Petals

Soft, feminine, and flirty — three words that describe the graceful-but-still-fun house of Untamed Petals. Their veil collection consists of 100% white and ivory designs with a focus on originality in edges, textures, and small details. Untamed Petals is perfect for someone who wants the traditional elegance of a white veil, but isn’t afraid to go a bit off the beaten path regarding texture, length, or material.

Crown and Glory

Crown and Glory is, simply put, for the spunky veil-wearer. This UK based brand features a small but fun collection of vibrant veils dripping with personality and embellishment. If you like bright colors, funky statement details, or anything that will make your guests’ jaws drop — this one is probably for you.

Christie Nicole

Christie Nicole is the design house for edgy, modern, and extremely fashion-forward humans. If you’re looking for something monochromatic with all sorts of drama, these black and white non-traditional veils are a sure way to stand out.

A.B Ellie

A.B.Ellie is perfect for any lover of elegance and minimalism, who still wants to put a unique and personal touch on the wedding outfit. Featuring the smallest pearl accents, elegant hints of satin, and other soft details - this brand is basically perfect for anyone who wants to be a touch more subtle about their wedding veil details.

On another lovely note — they also offer a select collection of wedding day cape rentals (and you know I’m here for the sustainability of that). Second-and-third looks, here we come!

(Okay, I may be a bit biased since they’re based in my home state of Minnesota, but still!)

Jane Rhyan

This Vancouver-based atelier masters the art of combining edgy and feminine. Each veil this shop creates has some sort of untraditional nod to it - from ruffles, to a variety of available colors, to more subtle edge stitching.

Girl and a Serious Dream

Girl and a Serious Dream is the studio for lovers of classic and feminine veil designs (but with subtle twists and unique touches). This store absolutely shines when it comes to delicate needlework and floral embroidery.

As a bonus — Girl and a Serious Dream also offers a gorgeous collection of coverups, accessories, and lingerie (perfect for that pre-wedding boudoir session)!

Monvieve

Yet another perfect option for someone who loves a bit of drama, Monvieve offers bespoke veils for high fashion weddings. Each one is made to order, and has intentionally designed details fit for royalty. Another lovely bonus of Monvieve is that they have partnered with the National Forest Foundation in order to plant one tree for each veil.
