FAQ

  • What's it like to work with you on a wedding day?

To put it simply: I tend to be pretty chill.

I'll joke around with you guys, hang out with you and your guests, and direct you as much or as little as you want to ensure you always feel comfortable in front of the camera.

My goal is to do whatever it takes for you get a ton of fun and natural moments in the gallery.

  • Do you photograph LGBTQIA+ events?

    YES

I firmly believe in LGBTQIA+ rights. I love and support the queer community, and I'd be more than happy to help you find your other kick-ass wedding vendors who support you and your partner.

  • Will you help me with my timeline/vendors/XYZ?

    Yes!
I'm more than happy to give solid vendor recommendations, custom-tailored timelines, and wedding assistance in general.

  • Do you travel?

    Short answer - yes!

I love traveling, and am always happy to meet you wherever you live! Travel and work permits are always included in your proposal (with the exception of any required on-site stays at resorts) — whether you’re eloping abroad or having a traditional wedding in a different state.

The proposal page you get is the total!

  • I want to hire you! ..... Now what?

Step 1: Fill out one of the forms on this website (or email me at hello@adrianstein.com)!

Step 2: We’ll have a quick chat about your specific priorities, day-of expectations, and custom package options (this is usually best to do via in-person meetings or Zoom/Facetime).

Step 3: You’ll get a link to a personal page where you can sign the contract and submit the flat fee booking retainer via credit card or bank-transfer. I do also accept checks if needed.

  • We don't want our photos on the internet or social media. Is that okay?

    Yes!
While I typically use a handful of images from every wedding in advertising, my website, and social media, I am also happy to honor privacy requests to a point. You can go through and pick a handful of images you don’t mind me sharing, set general guidelines (no identifiable faces), etc.

NDA’s and total privacy buy-outs are available upon request.

  • Do you deliver RAW photos?

    No I don’t.

RAW files are not very pretty. They come out of the camera gray, dull, flat, and specifically meant to be edited.

To put it plainly - I believe that delivering RAW files removes the magic imbued by the editing process.

If you have more questions, or want to see some before & afters, just ask!

  • How many photos do you deliver?

I deliver around 50-70 high resolution photos per hour of coverage.

Though I definitely take more than that, I only deliver photos that I think are worth viewing, tell the story of your day, or are interesting/funny.

My main goal is for each image to add something to the gallery.

  • Do you have insurance?

    Yes!

I'd also be more than happy to send your venue my policy number if requested.

  • Are you vaccinated against COVID-19?

    Yep!

Also happy to mask at events or take extra health precautions when needed.

Did I miss something?

Feel free to ask - even if it’s just one question!
